iFlock

2024.  Wearable device, Distorted reality experience

Description and concept:

In a world plagued by insecurity, "iFlock", the Confidence Connection Helmet (CCH) emerged. This revolutionary device is specifically designed for individuals yearning for empowerment and a sense of belonging. With its advanced distorted reality (DR) technology, the helmet transports users into a collective virtual orgy, redefining the boundaries of desire and self-expression. Inspired by Philip K. Dick's "Empathy Box," the CCH flips the original concept, allowing a single person to connect with a large group in a carnal and sensual way. Also, drawing upon Hugo Gernsback's "The Isolator," CCH turns from eliminating distractions to embracing a world of temptation and indulgence instead. In this metaverse of desire, the CCH deploys the notion of a digital paradise as never before, inviting individuals to explore the world of their deepest desires while directly confronting their insecurities.
